I bought a domain name from 3rd party and want to host it in GoDaddy. I’ve changed A record of my domain name to GoDaddy server IP address and have also changed nameserver to what GoDaddy suggested. But on visiting the domain name from a browser it shows website not found. Do I need to make more changes in DNS? I request an experienced GoDaddy customer to guide me. Thank you.
GoDaddy has support 24/7. Call them and they’ll walk you thru the process. (480) 505-8877
Calling them and talking to them was of not much help. I’m from India and hv called their Indian customer care number. I feel that their Indian customer service center people are not well trained. They could not be of much help.
Try that. Also, you can contact your 3rd party where you purchased the domain or try GoDaddy again… every time you call you get a different person and they vary in their helpfulness/experience.
