I was wondering if anyone knew of a code that I can use to implement mouse wheel scroll for a horizontal layout website.

    Hey Chris,

Thanks for replying back to this. It doesn’t seem to be working. I created a horizontal scrolling site using your article http://css-tricks.com/how-to-create-a-h … ling-site/ and I have all the elements contained in a div. But when I try to attach the mousewheel event to the div it doesn’t work.

Also I checked out the reference URL that you provided on that example page. The horizontal scrolling seems to work with the mouse wheel in firefox but not chrome (4.0.249.49 (35163) beta on mac) or safari (4.0.4 on mac).

    Thanks,

    Mike

It’s weird. I got the script that Chris suggested to work. But it seems to only work for Safari and Chrome but not firefox. But the example that Chris gives works in firefox but not chrome and safari.

    Anybody know a solution?
