I hope I did the screen shot upload right. I’m new, of course.

I am trying to fit three horizontal divs into a wrapper of 820px. Divs are: blue, left, 270 px w 173h brown, middle, 270 px w 173 h blue; right 270w 173h blue. I also want to put a 3pvwhite border beside the left and right center div. I need to fill these with text so I put the colors in the background. What you see here is left blue, floats left; middle floats left; right floats right. I need to go in and change the css but I am asking if floating is the answer and am I floating them correctly? For some reason, my brown rectangle has taken on the blue right format.

I know this is probably very easy, but I am cramming trying to get this site done for my teacher and my head cannot absorb all the new DWCS4 stuff I’m learning fast enough.

    Thank you!

You can also use relative and absolute positioning.
