help with media queries

  • # November 4, 2012 at 3:32 pm

I’d like to make [my site](http://www.kjx.me.uk “”) look better on smaller screens and whilst I probably need a new design for phones, as an initial fix I am trying to use media queries. Some of the attributes aren’t recognised particularly as I try to resize the percentage width of some divs. On full screens the logo is 20% and the topNav is 75%. On smaller screens I’m trying to increase the logo to 40% and decrease the topNav to 55% so the logo doesn’t get lost.

Is this doable? Can someone point out where I’m going wrong? Thanks

At one point, where you assign the 40% in your CSS, that line ends with a colon — and it should be a semi-colon of course. I think that’s what you missed?
