having link problems in safari but not in ie

    I am working on this site for a client and it’s built on html5 boiler plate. The problem is when I put in a link to their facebook page on the facebook button it won’t do anything, it works fine in ie but when i try it in safari nothing happens please help me.

    I don’t think you can do this:

    facebook

    Try this instead:

    facebook

    But you shouldn’t be using a table anyways…

    I tried it but it didn’t work and now it won’t work in ie i’ll probably try converting it to a div and span and see if that will work.

    This is a major issue:

    I think you want to use text-indent: -9999px; instead.

    Then give you anchor link display: block and give it a width and a height.
