    I’ve HostName, FTP Username and Password with me. I want to get the files from server to my computer through FTP. Please tell me how to go about it?

    Download Filezilla:

    http://filezilla-project.org/

    Choose your platform and install…

    Start Filezilla and fill the info in the fields above

    Also some code writing software, such as Coda (mac only), has ftp built into it. I think Dreamweaver has this as well.

    Otherwise Filezilla is a solid choice.
