frustrating jquery/galleria css problem

  • # May 10, 2010 at 10:28 pm

    I’m trying to set up a gallery using the galleria plugin. it’s mostly working, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to prevent the bottom of the thumbnails from getting clipped. I’ve disabled and reenabled pretty much every attribute of every property in the css file in an attempt to debug, but to no avail. I would have thought it had to do with the size of the galleria-container, but it didn’t seem to. if any of the brilliant people here are able to see my problem, I’d be grateful.

    the gallery is here: http://www.jlimages.info/sbridge/photos.html

    Change

    Code:
    .galleria-thumbnails-container {
    bottom:0;
    height:60px;
    left:87px;
    position:absolute;
    right:85px;
    z-index:2;
    }

    to

    Code:
    .galleria-thumbnails-container {
    bottom:0;
    height:134px;
    left:87px;
    position:absolute;
    right:85px;
    z-index:2;
    }

    and the height of div.galleria-container (It seems to have inline styling) to 550px.

    thanks a lot for giving it a look…

    you’re right about the inline styling being the problem. i didn’t see it at first because the inline styling is all added by the galleria script. so it looks like I’ll have to dig further in to the script for that answer. thanks again for your time.
