Hi guys,
I manage a site for one of my clients at http://gluckwalrath.com and recently, without making any changes at all to the site, the pop-up menus stopped working. This seems to be a fairly common issue for wordpress from a simple google search, but I cannot determine how to fix it.
I believe the issue has to do with an error in the sf-menu with the SuperFish javascript engine. However, I’m not at all familiar with javascript so I’m not sure how to fix such an issue.
Would anyone be willing to help me out?
Superfish uses the $.browser function of older versions of jQuery, because you are calling your jQuery using
It's calling the most recent version of jQuery, which is currently version 1.9.1, support for the $.browser function was removed from jQuery in V1.9+,
There are two possible fixes, one is to call your jQuery from google specifying a complete version number like
Or you can also include the jQuery Migrate script which will re-add the removed features into jQuery, you can do this by adding
