Feedburner Problems

  • # December 11, 2008 at 3:11 pm

I have been having problems with feedburner of late.

It had been a bit intermittent in the past, but it has ground to a
    complete halt.

The feed is thebutterflyexperiment.com/feed and is Valid

    The Problem
I got an HTTP 500 error for the feedburner feed. After trying an
number of different things, and just waiting hours for it to clear up
    the same error was showing.

I thought I would just delete and start again, but when I try to re-
add it I now get a connect timed out message and can not set it up
    again.

I would like to use feedburner due to its excellent features, but I
    can’t solve this problem.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or do you know how to fix it?

    Cheers!

You aren’t by chance using a caching plugin with wordpress are you? That has smoked my feed in the past.

I’ve stripped back all plugins and am now just left with akismet, kimili flash (that is only used for a page and not any posts) and gravatar.

hmm. still stuck, any more ideas???

    Update:

I have managed to get the feed to be added to my feedburner account
again and is at the URL http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheButterflyExperiment

Unfortunately now it gets the HTTP 500 error again, so doesn’t update,
    or work!

The strange thing is that the comments feed at
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/CommentsFor … Experiment does
    work.

Has any one got any ideas???

    Cheers
