Hey, I’m creating a gaming website for a client and he wants to see the first draft in a couple hours. Any fast feedback would be appreciated.
Pretty much the four pages are:
http://projectrain.boots3pots.com/index.html
http://projectrain.boots3pots.com/news.html
http://projectrain.boots3pots.com/news-post.html
http://projectrain.boots3pots.com/guide-post.html
Thanks!
The border on the logotype seems a bit odd like that. On the news page, the top border in each section in the sidebar would look better if there was some sort of content above it like the homepage. And the footer height looks weird with such little content. I would minimize that quite a bit.
Alright, thanks. Just added Logos ‘n links in the footer so it isn’t as awkward now. Thanks a ton man!
You should look into PHP includes so you don’t have to make the same changes on every single page.
Each page could look something like this:
This way if you have to make a change to the footer, you’d only have to update one file.
Thanks, yeah basically all the back-end stuff is being done by another person I’m just setting up a layout. He’s going to be using a PHP framework so I believe that takes care of that issue?
EDIT: Sweet, yeah I was basically just rushing and copy/pasting because he wanted a fast prototype, but for the long-term I’ll definitely be using something similar to that. Thanks once again.
Ah, okay. That works.
