    Arrgh,

I switched to Orange for my broadband recently and am here to rant about how poorly I feel their things are and ask whether you ave a similar issue?. Arrgh.

I have an email address with godaddy so I use pop.secureserver.net and smtpout.secureserver.net as the email servers and all was fine until I changed ISP.

Now, I couldn’t send an email address with a mail client and got an error that said I needed to use smtp.orangehome.co.uk as my outgoing server. After doing a bit of research I came across this:
    http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/suppo … cId=233487

Is it ethical to force users to use their own smtp server? Does this mean my email addresses will be marked as spam? Will it work when I am not at home?

Switch to a better ISP. That sorta thing would NEVER fly over here across the bay.
