    Hey ya’ll -

I’ll probably post about it on the blog sometime on Sunday, but the CSS Off has officially begun! Took me about 90 minutes to complete. Here is my entry:

    Hi Chris,

I hope for you that you’ll win. There was only one little miscode in it. In line 69 you have an opening <p>-tag which must me a closing </p>-tag. For the rest the code seems valid! :)

Very funny page! Did you design the graphics yourself?

As I understand it good, the point of Css Off is that you get a psd-file and have to make code of it. So everybody is using the same design. Isn’t it?

The link to the psd-file: http://cssoff.com/contestsfiles/2008-04-05-critters.zip

Yeah, everybody starts with the same PSD file and has to convert it into HTML/CSS within 24 hours. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna have time to do it, but I just popped open the PSD to take a look and got swept into it

And how can you win then?

I think the winning entries are "judged" in some fashion. Probably for the quality of the markup, validity, and whatnot. I’m not really sure. I think I did things in a fairly smart way, but we’ll see. It’ll be interesting to see the other entries and the approaches that they took.
