so is 41kb too big for a css file for a wordpress site? (yes its been minified and thats how big it is!)
i mean this includes ever style for the whole website across all pages and templates and even some plugins.
whats considered big?
it was my first wp website and im sure there is code in there that can be played with or selectors could be combinded….
is it ok?
Mine is almost at 11kb for 1 page and part of another. I would say it’s fine.
That sounds just about right.
That sounds good.
40kb/s is nothing, I have worked on a couple of projects where it can get up to 70kb/s due to the size of the site but the load time is insignificant for a vast majority of users on the web.
As everyone has said, 40kb is nothing, most of your images will be bigger than that.
ok good. you guys eased my mind.
@christopherBurton
11kb?! thats tiny!
@shamai I’m still working on my site. I’ll have 20+ pages at the time of completion so it will end up being much larger than that.
