Copyright

Today I am asking about copyright on websites, I know nothing about it and I think I should. Most sites have that ‘copyright 2009…..all rights reserved’ bit but what to you have to do to put copyright on a website? is it important? is it expensive? etc..
    Thanks, Matt

copy right is free, but you need to know that other sites don’t have the content, or images you have, or if you are the first with them.

you need to be able to prove copyright if you ever had to go to court.

putting the copyright sign on a site is easy, here it is: ©

but if I were you, store a version of your site somewhere as site version 1, so that you can prove it is unique at that time, remember files store the date they were created/edited etc
