    Hello

I’m having some trouble implementing a very simple comment system on a website I’m making. I know NOTHING about php, but I’m very good at following guides and tutorials.

However, I haven’t found a working tutorial for this simple commenting stuff. The only one I found was this one: http://9lessons.blogspot.com/2009/09/co … query.html but I can’t get this to work at all.

In the above tutorial, I’ve been able to make everything work except two things: the actual comment won’t show up (just the name of whoever posted it), and the comments won’t stay on the website if I refresh it.

Does anyone have a link to an easier tutorial to do something like this?

To back up just a touch:

How are you planning on storing these comments? a SQL Database, I assume?

The link you posted doesn’t deal with the storing of the comments, just the temporary displaying of the new ones.
