Clicking disabled in slider

  • # October 29, 2012 at 8:50 am

    So I’m using the Square slider as a model to create a series of sliding images on our home page.

    It’s working fine until we began to link out from the different slides. The links are viewable but clicking them is disabled (only the last one can be clicked). I believe this is due to the absolute positioning of the content items.

    My question is what is the right way to remedy this? I have tried z-index with no luck.

    You can view the problem here. http://dev.uk-cpi.com/

    See the original example I have worked from.

    You need to give the “current” slide a higher z-index than the other slides.

    .current-slide { z-index: 2; }
