Change #header width

  • # December 28, 2012 at 11:51 pm

    I”m working on customizing the Scope theme for WordPress and I’m having a little trouble. The #container is set to 980px – but I want to have the #header be 1009 to accommodate the header graphic I’m using. So it will look like it’s “wrapping” around the header.

    Here’s what I’m working on: http://dearlc.com/newsite2/

    Any advice?

    This worked for me:

    ~~~
    #header {
    background-position: 50% 50%;
    margin-left: -14px;
    margin-right: -14px;
    }
    ~~~
