I don’t really need any troubleshooting I’m just looking for some info…

When I first saw the selection used it really got me all excited. This is how Chris uses selection on css-tricks (as you all know).

Now for a personal site I’m using the selection myself. The way I use it is to select something to remind me where I’m reading and I find myself using it in passive windows a lot. I would really like to change the selection colors on a passive window. Right now if you look at css-tricks and make the window in which you selected passive it comes out as this:

Is there a css way to control it? Is it controlled by css at all ? or is it browser or even OS dependent ?

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen

I’m pretty sure that is an OS thing.
