I’ve given my site a facelift and I would appreciate some feedback.

I would work on the spacing and the borders a bit more. Also, using Helvetica is quite boring. I’d opt for something with more characteristics and personality.

Yeah, Helvetica is boring but it works. Do you have any suggestions for an alternative font?

Also, could you elaborate on your border and spacing issues?

I’ll have to try to figure out why the page is wonky in other browsers. Would you mind telling me what OS and browser you are using?

for what it is worth, i think chrisburton’s version/tweaks look more refined and easier to read.

Okay, wait a sec. In the image above and below? I’m only seeing one pic and it’s what I assumed to be a screenshot of my site as it appears now (on your computer).

It does. Thanks. Also what fonts did you use? I’m assuming Georgia for the article titles, but I can’t identify the other one used for the article excerpts and sidebar items.

Nope. Georgia is a transitional serif and I’m using a slab serif.

+ Headings: Adelle Semibold
+ Site title and body copy: Open Sans

If you have a budget to work with, I could suggest better alternatives.

Keep in mind, there are still some inconsistencies with my version. However, I think you understand where I was going with it.
