I’m new in this industry and I’m wondering if there is better tools than preview…?
I need to resize images and then upload them to mainly Themed WordPress site that requires specific resolution to look good.

Any ideas? or maybe preview is the tool of choice for many?

    Cheers!

Are you talking about a lot of images?

Have you thought about using PS or Fireworks for batch resizing?

Not really, I always thought Photoshop is like an overkill for this? But I’m open to this suggestion. Does how good is the workflow for just resizing individual image one by one. I want to be able to pick an area to crop and resize, the quickest, easiest possible way.. :)

Really? Doing a batch process is much easier compared to resizing one by one.

Edit: Cropping an area is different than resizing so doing a batch process might not be the best approach.

What do you use for individually cropping and resizing images?

I use IrfanView for many years, and with current PlugIn 4.35 you can do many things with it besides batch processing. Best thing is, it’s free.

No. I use it on WIN PC. What I’ve read, you should be able to run it on Mac with winebottler.
