When entering my Username and password to update to current version of wordpress I get this message "Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct."
Do you think my host is not compatable or something?
I think it’s more likely you have something wrong. FTP server, username, or password. I think if you have that right, but your host doesn’t allow it, there is usually some kind of different error about writeability.
