Hello all,
Trying to get data from my Extra Fields to display on my authors.php. I am an absolute php novice, but I know my html and css pretty darned well. Also not a complete WP noob, but it’s probably safe to assume I don’t know everything.
At any rate, I have installed a plug-in called WP User Manager that allows you too add extra fields to the user profile. I’ve been able to set up a couple of fields and type stuff in on the user profile page, but I can’t get the stuff entered into that field to show up on the authors.php. I’ve tried using two lines of code that I’ve found in the dizzying array of blog posts on this subject. They are….
Neither of them is displaying the contents of the fields on the author.php.
