I’m kind of wondering where 2Checkout fits into the whole scheme of ecommerce. I have a friend who was wanting to set up an online store with a little help from my end but was looking at using 2Checkout. But from what I’m seeing, it’s almost a replacement of PayPal but for a much higher rate. It seems like the "checkout" process works like paypal’s where it’s just a templated cart checkout hosted by 2Checkout and it’s not really integrated into your website.
But what’s odd is that 2Checkout says they work with paypal, so I’m not quite sure why you’d ever use the two of them together.
Am I missing something about these guys that someone whose used them is more accustomed to?
