I’d like to add a column that shows the description. Anybody know how to do this.
Default it has ‘File, Author, Attached to, Comment & Date. If needed I can search media by the description tag.

@FragaGeddon I’m not understanding your problem. Please elaborate?

You’ll probably need some custom fields in there.

@FragaGeddon I believe WP v3.5 ships today or tomorrow. We had a guest at our local WP meetup last month who showed us a sneak peek of 3.5 and the media library was _totally_ overhauled, sortable, draggable, etc. Do an update and see if your problem has already been addressed with the new WP.

@jeffc Thanks, will check it out when I get home. It was something that needed to be addressed.

You could look at the Custom Admin Columns plugin, as well. It can add some custom columns to the admin section really easily.
