I actually updated the post, sorry if I did so after you posted. I really want to add a whole other function to the "click" event so I can make something else happen on the site when I click the button. Check the PS of my post.

I would almost consider making the tabs separate divs with the tab as a background image. That way you can manipulate your links without trying to line things up.

Overflow:hidden fixed it, thanks! And thanks for pointing out the background ";", it was at the end of the properties so it wasn't hurting anything....yet.

Not really understanding your question. Are you having trouble with small margins on your page edges?
