Thanks for the help. Everything worked except for the .prepend('span[class="close"]hide') which broke the close caption link. See my deBug page to see what happens.

Solved, it was a file miss name.... my css folder is in all uppercase. I swear, I spent all morning looking for typos before i posted this mess! Sorry!

FF 4.0.1 problems
Well, I found that jsfiddle page in screencast #95 and it seemed to work in the video. None the less, FF drops many css3 declarations on many sites I visit.

edit. Thanks! figured out how to place the script... Next is to get the div "current- caption" where it is supposed to go no that it is outside the slider, then into my site, where it is supposed to to... thanks again, huge help!

yeah that worked, but ran into another problem... The drop shadow on top started at the top of my dog's ears were he is poking out of the header. So there was a gray bar (the bg) on top of the header and below the start of the drop shadow. idk…
