In the meanwhile I managed to find the read further links in the functions-file and assigned a class sto it but I still can't seem to find the "older posts" and "newer posts" links.

I would move the "pages" column in the footer a bit to the right. And the asterisk on the right of the logo tells me to look for small print like a disclaimer (like in a contract) ;-) For the rest, it looks pretty good.
