I just looked briefly, but codeacademy doesn't seem to offer any PHP courses.

w3schools is not a good learning resource, especially for PHP.

You might look at Practical PHP - it's a bit outdated, but still a solid foundation.

You should definitely spend lots of time on php.net as well.

I know you asked for links, but I have to say that Larry Ullman's two PHP / MySQL books are what really got me going with PHP:
