[Solved] OS X floating problems?

I was checking a website I made with Adobe Browser labs under Safari OS X and Firefox OS X and if you look at this screen shot

youll see there is an issue under the home page photo with the text, should be two columns.

The first column is too wide. The difference in font rendering is probably what is causing it appear to be okay under Windows.
If you make the first column 290px it's okay.

oh i get it :) when it works in one browser i dont think that the width is broken.. so that was easy :)
