I felt like starting to kind of recreate a Windows 95 desktop using HTML/jQuery. It's kind of neat and a lot of fun to do. Only started a couple of hours but it's shaping up nicely.
I plan on having a full start menu and ability to open folders, etc.

I'd like for it to display a user's local time. I'm not much of a PHP guy. I managed to get it to show the server's time :D Anybody know of a good way to do this?
I stumbled on this thread after searching to see if anyone has any functional examples of a jquery and css windows 95 site. I figured there would be a hilarious implementation out there but OPs link is broken. Is it still somewhere online?
