Hi. So, I'm getting set to launch my new portfolio site within the next week. Before I do so, I want to get feedback from some designers outside of my "friend-zone." I've been really into clean, white, sexy designs lately... and have pulled something together that I think will really serve as a great portfolio site. There are a few things I am concerned about however.
Home Page: Obviously I will be adding more projects... I just want to get this sucker live! :) I'm also working on a hover state for the navigation. I just haven't quite figured out the CSS sprite nav.
About Page: I'm not sure if I'm sold on the layout of this page... any suggestions?
Project Detail Pages: I've been mulling over putting a back to home button on these pages. Is using the logo common enough yet to not have to do this?
I like it but the navigation doesn't feel as intuitive as it could be. I also feel the site didn't feel as 'interactive' as it could be as well...slideshows, rollovers, some kind of animation. I personally think the layout could be a lot more intuitive and user-friendly...but I love your style and think you do very professional work, so I really think it could be showcased with more polish.
Edit - If you haven't figured out the sprite nav, it's highly valuable as it stands. I taught myself off this site:
I like the simple white look - nice job (I think it's a definite improvement over your current design). However, I agree with the above comment in that it lacks a little zip, pizzaz. I dunno, it just feels flat. Maybe it has something to do with the static right hand column - what if you changed up the content on each section? Maybe add a delicious linkroll or something instead of just a tweet? Or Chris's Quotes on Design script? Or if you mixed up the layout a bit on your About section, maybe two even columns, with a hr running beneath your banner and name? It's just that your designs seem to have more spunk than your own site! Hope that helps. Cheers!
I really love the grey/blueish bar you have at the top although I think your site title of "This Account Has Been Suspended" is a little strange - also your copy is a little too commanding... "Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." I think you should probably add some mor.... hold on a sec! ;)

I basically used the same script on my personal site (see in sig).
