As per title I was wondering if anyone had had any experience with online ticket sales with WordPress.
I was hoping to find a third party product to integrate with so there's less potential problems, but if there's an adequate plugin I'd be open to looking at that as well.
It has the ability to sell digital products and has some interesting tools to aid these "e" sales. There is also alot of support from the community to help you through potential problems.
I would not recommend that. Unless they have updated it recently, most of the shopping cart options don't work, and it is very hard to customize. If you are doing E-commerce, I would not recommend WordPress, as I haven't found any good shopping cart or ecommerce plugins. If you find a good one, I would love to check it out.
I've never used the wp-ecommerce plugin but I know that it is used to great effect on this site http://icondock.com/ otherwise there is the shopp plugin http://shopplugin.net/
