CSS Naked day

  • It's the third annual CSS naked day and i was dissapointed CSS-tricks hadn't gone naked!

Did anyone out there actually comply?

  • I did - I like the idea - but glad it's only a day - the web would be pretty dull otherwise lol
  • I definitely thought about it... but I ultimately decided that I didn't like associating "totally busted websites" with "css" in peoples minds was a good thing. I know it's to raise awareness and all that, but I just wasn't convinced this was a good way to do that. Just like I don't think stopping traffic downtown is a good way to disagree with war.
  • What I found interesting was that many of the participants when having their css removed, showed their websites to be poorly coded and inaccessible. A sizeable number didn't actually remove their CSS at all (even allowing for time-zone differences) and piggy-backed the event for a cheap back-link. All in all I appreciated the sentiment of this naked-day but don't know how useful it'll be ultimately.
