My current css mission is to create a Three Column Fluid Design that works on IE6+, Firefox etc. I wondered before I check out generic layouts, whether any of the users here have a solution they have tried and tested out. I regularly use fixed width layouts, and I am not as familiar with any issues or potential banana skins relating to fluid layouts.

I used Google too and searching for 'Three Column Fluid Design' brings you right to an article of Alistapart about this thing. It's called the Holy Grail and it tells exacty how to do it :)
