Wordpress and Drupal local viewing and set up

    Does anyone know the process of making and testing Wordpress and/or Drupal using MAMP? I know for Wordpress you have to set up a database but I do not know this info for my localhost. I am in the learning stages of working with PHP/MySQL and all that. So my knowledge is limited and I need some good advice or tutorials that go step by step on how to do everything. Any suggestions?

    I got it to work for Wordpress. I still need help with a good MySQL tutorial for amatuers in which I am. I am not a programmer but any thing I can learn about the specifics of MySQL and PHP would be great.
