Where's 'Top Sites' on Safari 4?

  • Hey Guys, just installed Safari on Win XP and I can't find this 'Top Site's' gizmo anywhere. Any ideas?
  • On the mac it's under preferences -> general. With options to open new windows and tabs showing your "Top Sites".
  • No Joy - I can open with Home Page, Empty Page, Same Page, or Bookmarks. I've tried them all, just in case, with no result...

It's not a big thing, but I'm curious to see it! :)
  • Very strange :? it should be there according to Apple
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3657
  • I know, it's weird - I googled it, tried all suggestions, checked my version of directX, the works. I'm starting to obsess a little about it now! :D

Just said I'd post it up here in case any other Win XP user had the same issue. Strange.
  • Not trying to be facetious, but you have definitely installed safari 4 and overwritten any earlier versions?

Otherwise, I found this old article, from when safari 4 was still in beta, that suggests it may be related to your graphics card http://news.softpedia.com/news/Safari-4-New-Features-Require-Stuff-105298.shtml
  • It's the first install, so no worries there. And I'm running DirectX 9. I'm installing a new graphics card over the weekend though, so maybe everything will light up then!
