Hi,

Im building private php based website for a handful of people that will have authorisation to view the contents. Its basically a database for jobs at work. in the previous version ive just used a mysql database with authorised users and a submit form.

I'm wondering if this is still the preferred practice or whether an OpenID type service would be worth looking at. Any suggestions or opinions on the idea?
