for the first I would recommend changing the font colour to something lighter, maybe #CFCFCF? Also although I like the desgin, it might be a tad overwhelming to new visitors to have all the content shoved in their face straight off, I suggest some sort of picture gallery?
On the second, I would recommend using a roll-over effect on menu, and try to put more focus on the main content, I found myself looking around for it! Maybe make the text bigger?
Again I like it, but both could do with some improvements.
