    Hi,

    I need to develop a dashboard for customers accessing my site.
    I was knocked down by what I saw in http://chartbeat.com/demo/#trafficSources.

    I understand this was all "in-house" development.

    But any idea what might be the technologies behind ?
    Where should I start ?
    What qualifications should I be looking for when looking for a contractor to work with me on this ?

    Technology on web HTML5 + CSS3 + JavaScript + SQL + PHP ... (among a ton of others) ... these are the most obvious ones.

    As for what to look for:
    in job descriptions this is refered to as User Interface Designer (guy developing apps interfaces and such).

    I believe it can be more specific but this is what comes to my mind first.
