Hi, I've never asked for help on here before. I'm still majoring in web dev so some things really trip me up sometimes, especially cross browser compatibility. I do maintenance on this site http://www.moheak.com/ but I didn't design the site. I just do things when everyone the creator of the site is busy. I had to put up the sites first banner. I'm having issues because one person on the staff using chrome version 19.0.1084.52 is seeing the red "news" tab on the left overlapping the bottom of the blue banner. I uploaded a picture of the screen shot he sent me.http://www.moheak.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Screen-Shot-2012-05-31-at-11.42.38-AM-1.png I've checked on two of my iMacs, a Windows laptop in every resolution, on that version of chrome and other browsers and I'm not coming across the same problem. I tried browser shots and don't see it either. I'm quite confused about this. Does anyone have any ideas of why one person would see something so different from what I'm seeing? In addition, maybe a bigger issue is that when I re-size the browser the banner was sticking into the sidebar. I fixed this by changing the min-width of the site to be a bit bigger. The only issue is that on an iphone it still sticks out. I have a feeling this may be unavoidable though, as I'm not really going to design the whole site for the iphone when I just do smaller maintenance type things on the site...right? Maybe there's a way to avoid this that I'm not aware of. I thought of overflow hidden but this ad is important and I don't want part of it hidden. Sorry this is a bit lengthy. I'd appreciate your help because I'll probably learn something from this....and it's been bugging me most of the afternoon.
