Hi, I am trying to use anything slider on a page, however it doesnt work right away on IE9. IE request pesmission to load unsecure content! only after that works. Any way to overcome this process??
I only get that message when I try to run AnythingSlider locally, which is one reason I don't do any development in IE. That message shouldn't pop up once you get the code up and running on a live site. If you do, then you'll have to adjust some of the IE security settings.

To my knowledge, the sliders work fine across Firefox, Chrome, and IE8--all on Windows XP--but one of my reviewers says that the slides do not display correctly using IE9 in a Windows 7 environment. The problem reported is that the slider width collapses to a very narrow display and the tabs all get stacked on top of each other.
Hmm, it all looks good to me - IE9 in Windows 7 even. But, if you click on the little broken page icon (blue icon in the screenshot) inside the URL bar it switches the browser into IE7 compatibility mode:
So make sure (press F12 and switch it if you have to) the browser AND document mode are both set to IE9.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm happy and relieved to know that the code is OK and that the pages display alright for you in Windows7/IE9 (since I am in a different environment and can't test the pages in 7/IE9, I can't see the same).
Apart from telling my reviewer (and anyone else who encounters this issue) to click the "broken page icon" is there anything else I can or need to do? Or is there a way to head off this issue otherwise?

Actually, what I meant to say is that they shouldn't be clicking on that icon. It's blue because it is active and switching into compatibility mode. It should be grey and remain grey.
