I've recently started a new blog on web design, development, and business called Build Internet. I've started with a focus on Flex development specifically. I'm excited to see the response so far, I would love any feedback for the blog.
The background image is very distracting, the banner logo is nice, I like it a lot but it seems a bit out of place because of the background. I would really like to see you carry the font style you used in your header onto the page, I think it would look great. The article column is attractive and laid out pretty well as well as the ad column but some less stark colors than just the black and white would also be very appealing, just my .02 worth.

A few things that might small touches:
The navigation might do with some button like rollover instead of just underlining the link.
Also the sidebar might be helped by: http://www.usabilitypost.com/2008/09/04 ... ble-areas/
Just some thoughts looks good though.
