Top Banner Ad

This ad will appear at the top of ALL pages of CSS-Tricks. The includes not only the articles section, but the forums and downloads section as well. This is by far the most noticed and best performing ad. This rate for this spot is $250.00/month and can be purchased a single month at a time or up to 3 months in advance.

Video Advertising

CSS-Tricks does video screencasts in which advertising spots are available. These spots may be of any length up to one-minute in time and can come in form of provided video, or as a personalized message from me explaining the product, service, or site. The rate for these spots are $100.00 per video, or $300.00 for a month (4 videos).

RSS Feed Sponsorship

Many of the readers of CSS-Tricks rarely even visit the page, but keep up with the content through the RSS feed. Your ads can reach these readers as well through sponsorship of the RSS feed. These are sold in weekly blocks (minimum of 5 posts). Your ad will go out in each of those 5 posts as an 468×60 banner, text, or both. $75/weekly.

CSS-Tricks has been featured on Digg, DZone, Del.icio.us, Reddit and Smashing Magazine. Google is the #2 source of traffic, ranking highly on a variety of CSS and design related keywords. The #1 source of traffic is from StumbleUpon, who just seems to love us. Traffic is at over 100,000 unique visitors per month with about 300,000 pageviews. These numbers have also been steadily rising since launch. The introduction of the videos, downloads, and forums sections in spring of 2008 has been great and will ensure strong growth for all of the coming year. “Peak” days can see over 75,000 pageviews!
